A LETTER FROM EDITOR IN CHIEF ANDRU VALPY:

 Dear Friends and Fans,

In 2007, Paul and I made our way down to UMFM Studios for the first episode of "The Aimless & Andy Show", replacing my old radio show entitled "The Better Than Bob Show".

For those of you who have been loyal listeners, you'll remember our firt show aired bright and early on a Tuesday morning, just before "Let's Get Baked With Matt And Dave" on CJUM 101.5 FM.

Our show was "doomed" from the begining, as our big premier never happened.
 
One week later, we made our official permier as a radio duo and jokingly said we had no idea how long this project would last. In fact, if you review our "second" episode, you'll see exactly what we are talking about. . .

On June 14th of 2008, we took our show to a new time-slot and entitled it "The Aimless & Andy Show - After Hours" which aired Friday Nights at midnight (technically saturday morning...) on CJUM 101.5.

It was around that time when we started to evlolve and devlop our reputation for fun, music, and our sarcastic sense of humor. . . it was also then that our doomed show took a positive spin.

In December of 2009, The Aimless & Andy Show had grown to levels we never expected with the affiliations we had built both locally and nationally. Due to the success, reputuation, and partnerships Paul and I had built, we decided to take our show to the World Wide Web, and watch our radio show evolve. . . And that it has.

Since January of 2010, I have indipendantly posted over 73 items in our iTunes Podcast Library, and have had the opportunity to explore a ton of new music, and had the privilage to meet some amazing artists, some of whom I've listened to since youth.

Our growth and evolution could not happen without the help of our affiliates, our team members, our families, our advisors, our community and country, and most importantly YOU, our fans. For that, the team and I are extreamly thankful, and appreciative.

As many of you know, each year our team assembles to celebrate our anniversary and success with a night of fun and celebration.

We do this not only to say "thank you" for the support, but also as a way to give back to the community by way of donation.

This year is no exception. . .

With the help of The Aimless & Andy Team and Winnipeg's own "Shannon's Irish Pub" we are gearing up up to create an event that will top last years sell out at The Times Change(d) High and Lonesome Club.

Though details are still being finalized, I am now personally inviting you to save FRIDAY OCTOBER 29TH 2010 for "A Night With Aimless & Andy".  

 I can personally assure you that this night out is not to be missed.

All of those involved in the planning stages are really excited at the details that will be announced, and cannot wait for this night to arrive!

In the upcoming weeks, our VIP Podcast will be scaled back to allow for proper planning, though Wake Up Winnipeg and Drifter In The Dark will still air weekly on UMFM.

During this time, I ask for your patience and understanding for the delay in podcasting and assure you we will post them when time permits.

As additional details are confirmed; This webpage, our twitter, our faceboook fanpage, and our blog will be updated to ensure you are provided the most accurate information.

Also be sure to keep your eyes open for posters, and ears open for announcements as they pop up.

Having said all that, I would like to once again thank ALL OF YOU who have ever been involved in The Aimless & Andy Show throughout our radio-lifetime. Without your support, guidance and belief we would not be here today.

I look forward to seeing you all at Shannon's Irish Pub on The 29th of October at which point we will celebrate our growth and success together with three ROCKING bands!
